It depends on your needs. There are multiple things you need to consider when buying a laptop:
- When buying a laptop you will need to consider how much memory you will need. If you plan to download a lot, you may want a laptop with a lot of memory. Keep in mind that the more memory you have, the more the laptop will cost.
- When buying a laptop you will also need to look at battery life and eco settings. If you plan to use your laptop a lot where you will not have access to a power outlet you should choose a laptop that has good battery life and eco settings.
- When buying a laptop you should consider the cost. There are a ton of "cool" laptops out there, but the features they have might not be necessary for your needs. Therefore, if it looks "cool" but costs too much for your budget, I would suggest getting something cheaper.
- When buying a laptop you should also consider their performance. My father bought himself a laptop that was $300. The drags of it were that it is really slow. He does not have very much memory. However, it suits his needs. He does not mind waiting on it, as he only uses it to do personal research. If you need a laptop for school, work, etc., you may want something faster. After all, you wouldn't want to be behind because your computer was really slow.
- And finally, the last thing I would consider is the starter program you want your laptop to have. You can have Linux, Windows, or Apple. You should choose which one based on your needs. If all three of these starter programs suit your needs, then it is a personal decision based on what you like the most and what suits your budget. I hope this information helps you pick out the right computer for you.
As for AMD or Intel, Intel seems to be the strongest, so I would go with that.
