At what age can a child decide to live with a divorced parent full time in New Jersey?
Most judges will take the child's wishes under some consideration as young as 12 or 13. It is, after all, up to the courts to decide this until the child reaches their majority.
umm im pretty sure the attorney will ask you at any age, but im sure you can decide at age 14 or higher. when my parents got divorced, they never asked me an i was about 11 or 12.
I think 13 or 14. My cousins parents are split up, and she's 15 now but they said that she could've picked who she wanted to live with like 1 or 2 years ago. But you may have to be 18 not sure.
