Are we a Nation under God? Added to pledge in 1954. Many religions and secular beliefs, majority Christians. Is the pledge correct?

Yes, we are a nation "Under God." however, many Americans have chosen to take God out of their lives.

As did the Israelites when they constantly complained & trespassed against God, He chastised them and even killed some of them off; eventually extended His grace also to Gentiles, yet never forgot His people.

God is still God: and we can only pray for our country to remember Him

Yes that's correct , but a much more important line that most Americans are clueless to is " to the REPUBLIC for which it stands ". We are not a democracy . We are a Republic .

That was added to help separate us from "those godless commies". If I really cared about silly words I would say take it out, by thankfully I don't get myself worked up about it.
