I have been on many different drugs for headaches. Go to a neurologist, then go to another one for a second opinion. Find out what triggers your migraines, and stay away from those things. You may have to try different drugs because everyone is different. Be careful taking over the counter medicines you can have rebound headaches.
I have found that if you go to your local pharmacy and ask them the most effective over the counter treatment. Could be Neurofen, Panadol, Asprin. Take the reccomened does and get at least 10 hours sleep per night for a week and see if there is a change in the pain. If not, it may be and allergy, something in your diet, too much excersise, not enough. If the problem doesn't get any better after trying these suggestions, go see a doctor. It may be something serious or something simple to fix. They will be able to figure it out (:
My grand mother had a home made medicine, put two to three drops of ALMOND OIL by dropper on opposite side of the nose and lye down for 15 to twenty minutes one one side. Hope this will help you a lot. Do some allergy tests too.
