Need HELP!! Parent teacher conference is in Monday. Im gonna fail math cause I got a 30 on a test. My mom keeps asking what I got.

my mom keeps asking what I got in the test. I keep on telling excuses that she didn't give us yet or something. I gave in the test already. my mom said she is going to write and email message to the teacher. SHE'S GONNA KILL ME IF SHE FINDS OUT!!! btw I failed 2 tests and 2 quizzes (everyone did in my class) HELP ME

It doesn't matter what everyone did in your class. Everyone did not lie to your mother. You did. If I could help you I wouldn't. Be honest next time. That will help you from now on.

I don't feel I did for this situation. But , what the heck, I hope I did. I like your fortitude. I believe you will do well for yourself when you get older. Continue being persistent in what you believe. If nothing else your resistance will exhaust themselves. You remind me of one of my youth group kids, good luck to you.

No way out, the bad grades combined with the lying doesn't look good. Confess before she goes, tell her you were scared, but going forward you are going to get help and turn this around, then do it!!Be prepared to have privileges taken away. Good luck !

The worst punishment is 'self-inflicted' when we hide the truth. Tell your mom and get it over with.

just tell her. BUT, give her the puppy eyes before you tell her and say "I am not proud of myself and I promise I will do better next time." then tell her and see if you can try crying too, than what keeps my dad from giving me the worst punishment ever is saying, "I am really sorry for my grade and I deserve to be in trouble."

I do that when I get a "C" and the puppy eyes help me show that I am genuinly sorry, because "C"s are not aloud in my home.
Than I do take my punishment. Infact I ask for it, I TELL my dad to give me one and that I deserve one, and than he goes light on me

One of these days it won't be your parents you owe an apology to. It will be your bosses and police and society. Enjoy your puppy eyes from the unemployment line and jail. When you are there for that be wise enough to understand what it really means to be mature and take responsibility.

I do take responsibility AND I am too much of a goody-two-shoes to get in trouble! and I am only 13 so let me enjoy being a kid without being ridiculed be some grown-up. I am still a kid and as long as I am I can do puppy eyes.
And I think you should know that I am going to college and I will get a great job. And I will be helping out my family as much as I can when I grow up.
But right now I am a 13 year old kid that is aloud to use puppy eyes

You must be honest, yes you will get in some trouble but your Mom will think more of you and mayb you and her can come up with ideas to help you improve your math:))) no one ever said growing up was easy, but we all go thru it and most important get thru it!! Moms just want the best for their children:))) suck it up and show some honesty:))) good luck:)

SHe knows I do bad in Math. It was same as last year. So she would go easy on me but these grades are really important!! They go to my college!!!

Yes they do and grades are a very important part of being accepted into college, but NOT the only thing! Just be the best you can be, no one can ever ask for more:)))

She knows already.First words from you should be,"I'm sorry";then say-"I haven't been honest or doing well in school"..Next..you should keep quiet and answer her questions truthfully and short-not elaborate.Be willing to accept her anger,disappointment and whatever-k?

First I want to say that I love your hair! Second, apologize for lying. Tell her that you know you could have done better and you'll do your best to bring it up. Let her know that you were scared, rightfully so, and ask her to help you with math... Or ask her to get you to school early for tutorials in the morning. You can only be expected to do your best, and I'm sure that wasn't it... Just make sure you tell her you will do whatever it takes to prevent this from happening again! Good luck...

My step son also struggles with math... It's the only thing he's failed so far this year... I typically don't freak out over his daily grades or test grades... I always go off his overall grade on progress reports & report cards... Maybe you could get your mom to focus more on the end results overall? Try asking for extra credit work as well... That may help bring your average back up closer to what your mom expects! Good luck... Again, LOVE the hair!!!
