Help! How can I get my boyfriend to play less video games and spend more time with me? I already talked to him about it but he doesn't stop.

He tells me I should try to do what he likes cuz he supposely does what I like but not really... and I've tried to play wit him but not often and he still doesn't really spend time with me. he thinks us being in the same room while he's playing video games and I'm on the computer is spending time with each other... what should I do?

I think its important for people to have time to do the things they individually want in a relationship. Find a hobby you can do to entertain yourself. When you want to hang out with your boyfriend, find an activity you can both enjoy. You don't have to love playing video games (nor should you force yourself), and he shouldn't have to give up the activities he enjoys. Just plan some activities you can do together.

Try embracing what he does more often and learn to play and he will probably want to spend more time with you but if he doesn't he just one of those people

You can't "get" your boyfriend or anyone else to do anything they don't want to. If you want to spend time together, make specific plans to do so and let him enjoy his game at other times. If he refuses to make plans with you, or you think his gameplay is excessive and you don't want to deal with it, the choice is yours: accept it or leave him.
