Nope...had a traumatic experience when I was 10...stayed away for years (luckily I have very good teeth). Found a great dentist who "gets" me and I drive 250 miles for an appointment.....it's a long story.
I don't like going. I may run my mouth a bit, but it is not big. I have trouble keeping it open while they are in there poking and prodding. I had a dentist I really liked and if my insurance would cover it I would fly back to VA to see him. Instead I have been changing dentists here, I think I am going to keep my last one tho. He seemed nice and his tech understood I can't help it when I bite.
I like going to the hygienist for cleaning/ polishing. After that, quick check up with Doc. I go every 4 months, so staying on top of things might be the reason. I wouldn't like going if it involved cavities or drilling.
