I may be an optimist, but the adults told the hippies they would ruin the world with their silly ideals. They didn't. They did admit that they should have bathed!!

Life is easier but still progressing from ages ago.Too much people spending half of their money on technology these days of the human mind.->Technology could ruin your life.

I think it needs work, and we can fix it, but sitting back & complaining isnt going too do that. I think its full of life, but we rely on technology too much, we also have less standards for ourselves, and alot of hobbies of previous decades are going away because of the internet, like stamp collecting ect.

Im fairly pround of us. We just got the problems with the drugs and the lack of morals and values and no regret when we disrespect our elders and we also got the......... yea maybe were not doin so well

They are terrible their daddy's and mommy's buy them everything and they never have to work. Most are the youngest and their moms and dads are like 50 so they don't care what their kids do anymore. I am embarrassed. There are only a few that turn out ok so far. I'm not at all perfect but I am turning out better than most.

Hi Shutterbug. Do you think the depression and bleak outlook is from the things you did not cause, yet have to bear the brunt of...like global warming, overpopulation, toxins in the environment? Is it more social....like sex too soon, lack of mutual respect? Both?

The majority of our generation makes me want to go live as a hermit so I don't have to deal with them. On the other hand, a few of us are actually decently intelligent and I think there is a possibility we could make a positive difference in the world. (Emphasis on few)
