Sounds like she just wants to be friends. So y dont u get to know her first.... After a couple weeks ask her out !!!:) tell her jokes make her smile, smile at her and be around her then ask her out

Whether she really wants to talk to you or not depends on how she said it. If you could pick up some enthusiasm in her voice, then it would mean she likes you, but if she said it in a flat manner, she might have been saying it to end the subject.
