Why are the majority of people dumb enough to believe swag is cool? And yolo is a genius idea?

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that you may die and that you only live once. Like really? Believing yolo is amazing, either means that people are oblivious to the nature of life orrrrr that people are getting dumb. And swag? Why is this encouraged? Like "I wanna bf with swag" oh so you want a boyfriend with arrogance and filled with conceit? Oh so you wanna be a jerk? Oh ok...seems legit. Look it up. Swagger, dictionary.com. Someone tell me why. Why is this appreciated/encouraged? I'm a teenager, so don't say it's a teenage thing.

I don't know, I often wonder about what is wrong with our generation. And besides, you live everyday. So I don't understand YOLO. My teens are pregnant too. I talked to my mom about stuff like this earlier.
