They have no logical, scientifically supported reasons. I believe in God and Jesus but I accept evolution and abiogenesis as fact. I do not believe in any of Genesis and do not accept much of the Old Testament. Religion is what you make of it.
We know that nothing can come from nothing. We know that the sun , planets , and comets could only proceed from the dominion of an intelligent & powerful being such as God. The human eyeball explains this. The millions of cones & rods & vessels to give sight. Also a woodpecker : its tongue has to be long to reach down into a hole in a tree: so long that the tongue has to go back up inside its head & wrap around in a circle. Evolution cant make millions of complex things at the same time & is not smart enough to work on all at the same time. It is so simple.....In the beginning God ...........
Blind faith in unproven and unprovable fables written by little educated, little traveled ancients. Religion appeared in the absence of science, and its adherents deny the voracity of scientific logic and theories, relying instead on grandiose threats of an eternal Hell to sway opinion to their view.

on the surface level, my rationale for not believing in evolution is simple. For all the so-called evidence provided to prove evolutionary theory, the probability that things in the physical world would turn out the way they have by accident is pretty preposterous. it's like shuffling a deck of cards multiple times (chaos) and coming out with all the cards in the EXACT order they came in when the box was first opened (order). Evolution says that primordial gases of unknown origin, cause a big bang, and somehow rocks magically appear out of these gases and cool forming water/oceans on their surface, which inexplicably give birth to single celled organisms that begin to change their molecular structure and crawl out of the ooze and... well I think we get the point...
I do not believe in the theory of evolution; the world and every thing in and on it did not happen by chance from nothing, every thing came about by intelligent design and the voice of God with hands on when it came to creating mankind.
The rational is that many people do not accept everything just because someone on this site has been indoctrinated and says that it has been proven. (cf. 1John 4:1) We question everything. Otherwise we would believe anything people told us. Whether they knew what they were talking about or not.
Because they don't know what evolution is probably. Evolution theory states that we have a common ancestor with monkeys. With this being said, it would very well be more evidence towards the creation theory as it is. But, many believers reject this theory because of biblical indoctrination.
It is only a theory promoted by men trying to justify their own evil. You can not be a Christian and reject Gods word at the same time, Jesus is either who he said He is or he was a lair. Creation lines up with the biblical account the evidence is there, however academia will suppress and ridicule anyone who dare "blaspheme the god of evolution" study the counter theories of evolution with an open mind. Look at the evil that evolution has brought into the world in the last 150 years. Christians trying to compromise the Word of God is more destructive to the church than any non believing scientist could ever be. There are scientific laws put into place by an all knowing and wise Creator those laws can be applied to physics and biology to further our understanding of the Creator however just as scripture says men become prideful and scoff at the Creator and worship instead the creation.
