Alright, I would say the "Oh, they're jealous. Oh, they're just mean. Etc. Etc.," but that almost always isn't the case. One of three things are happening: 1. You aren't actually being yourself. You simply don't realize it. 2. "Yourself" is a jerk and/or douche and people don't like that. 3. People are actually just jealous or mean. This is the most unlikely. In the event that number two is correct, which usually is, I'd recommend changing yourself to be actually nice. You should not stay being a selfish jerk simply to stay "yourself."
