Toothpaste is USELESS and leaves scars!!! The best way to get rid of acne is to be ten years older! All teenagers get some form of acne because they are growing through a hormonal storm, which is adolescence. The answer truly is to eat real food and drink more water - fresh vegetables and fruit, much less meat and nothing sugary at all. An effective method you can use is to make up a Calendula Tea - a third of a cup of chopped up Calendula flowers (Marigold, Calendula officinalis) topped up with boiling water - cool and strain. Cleanse the affected area daily (cotton wool helps) and make up fresh Calendula Tea once a week. I suggest you book an appointment with a Naturopath, Herbalist or Homeopath and they will guide you towards a beautiful complexion.
Amazon.com has many low-cost books that will help with teenage acne. “The Clear Skin Diet” by Alan C. Logan and Valori Treloar. “Acne: Facing Up to a Teenage Torment” by Robert Silverstein and Lee Ames & Zak Ltd. “Breaking Out: A Woman's Guide to Coping with Acne at Any Age” by Lydia Preston and Tina Alster. “Acne For Dummies” by Herbert P. Goodheart.
wash your face with regular soap and rinse it with the hottest water you can stand without burning yourself that will open up your pores ,pat dry dont rub ,then you get a good astringent if you dont have any then rubbing alcohol works the same and pat your face with it untill you see no more dirt then you want to rinse your face again but this time with the coldest water you can stand which will close your pores up then pat dry ,the pimples will dry out and go away , keep from touching your face with you fingers and do not pick at your pimples your fingers carry a tremendous amount of oil and germs that the eye can't see .
Dial Bar Soap is supposed to be a "healing" soap. Wash your face with that. Buy a few lemons and squeeze the juice into a measuring cup and mix 1/3 lemon juice with 2/3 bottled water. After washing your face, take 2 cotton balls and shake the mixture and apply it to your face and any other area that breaks out. Do this 2 or 3 times per day, and you should have clearer skin in two weeks to a month.
I'm 40 years old and still get pimples from time to time. A quick way to get rid of them is to use a cotton swab and put a small amount of rubbing alcohol on it a few times a day for one or two days. This not only dries the pimple up but helps kill the bacteria that caused it in the first place. DO NOT POP IT!!! This will just spread the infection and cause more pimples. The suggestions to keep your face clean and drink more water can also be helpful.
Saliva is the best remedy . apply ur saliva on surface it wont even leave scar. u can even apply on ur wound but remember ur saliva is more effective before u brush ur teeth. it will take time And avoid JUNK FOOD
I do really think that diet plays a major role in in pimples on the face but as stated categorically that as a person when you reach the puberty stage, there is a rapid hormonal growth in the body system thus leading to overall body and physiological changes in the body so therefore that be really much concerned about pimples on the face since after the post-pubescence stage the pimples will gradually disappear from the face. But on a more serious note, try and make sure that you stop the intake of groundnuts and or anything associated with nuts just to help deprive the body from developing pimples on your face. STAY BLESSED.
Wash your face with dial soap each morning, dry your face then rub olive oil into your face . Dont worry the olive oil will absorb into your face in just a few minutes. All doctors agree that olive oil is better for your complexion than any oil or lotion.
dont listen when they say pop them all it does is leave craters and scars never pop them or u will be known as crater face just dont pop them and wash ur face REALLY good the best u can do is follow what gregoryolanda said (5th answer)
OMG NO!!! don't POP them. use the scratch and squeeze method.
step 1. use your nail (finger nail) to scrape off the first layer of the skin ...-note: if you can't scrape it off without INTENSE pain, then don't! step 2. squeeze that damned thing until it bleeds. that's when all the puss is out. if it doesn't bleed it'll just come back
*also if your able to grow a beard it helps. shaves is HELL with pimples. the bits of hair get into the pores and start pimples. the blades open the pimples and they don't "bleed" so they never go away
Stop intake of oily foods and frizzy drinks. They get the worst of the pimples. try using organic products for pimples...drink a lot of water and also splash water over the face quite many times. http://www.exuberancebeauty.com/
The best remedy for acne is drinking a lot of water.drink a lot of water everyday(3ltr).esp when u wake up early in the morning.liver is directly responsible for skin condition.keep your liver healthy and your skin will be smoother and softer.

regular face washing, stay away from greasy, oily environments, and use zinc oxide paste u.s.p. at night after you wash and rinse your face before bed. it is a thick white paste, so massage it in gently and leave it on the skin overnight. you should have a noticeable improvement in the appearance of your skin in 3-7 days, but you should maintain that regimen until the pimples have abated. Good Luck!
oh, and as Jasonstratham rightly pointed out above, hydrate regularly, at least 8 oz. of water per hour.

Cut a potato and rub it on your face. No really, potato starch is great for oily skin. So, here's how you get potato starch:
On the finest grate you can find, peel and shred an UNCOOKED potato. Place the shredded potatoes in a colander, and run clear water through them. Capture this water in a large bowl ---> DON'T TOSS THIS WATER<-- It contains potato starch. Let the MURKY water settle for a while. You will notice a white substance that settled on the bottom of the bowl, this is potato starch.
Slowly pour the clear water off - trying not to disturb the potato starch). Now, let the potato starch dry. When dry, place in a mortar and pestal and grind to a fine powder. Store "powder" in a clean jar; use the potato starch by brushing it on your oily skin with a cosmetic brush.
Hint: If you don't have a mortor and pestal, use the back of a spoon in a cup to break up any clumps, press the potato starch against the sides of the cup.

If you have sensitive skin it is red and raw. Alot of people with oily skin treat the oily, and break out worse because they never treat the Base condition (sensitive skin which is 9/10 the cause) Aloe is great until the red and swelling go away. I've done it it helps some. Steaming your face opens up your pores. Some people use Baking soda and warm water. Following it with Aloe. Do not use a wash cloth it tears the skin. (Feel for you, Broke out more in my twenties then my teens) Coffee is a detoxifyer as well. Do not rub into skin, the abrasion will make it worse. Orange peels, Lemon peels
if its ready to pop, then you should pop it because the reason the pimple is there is because of whats inside: puss/dirt and that needs to get out. As soon as it starts to bleed you have to stop. then wash it with a normal face wash and put good face lotion on it. Keep the area clean, and don't touch or agitate it. It will appear red but as soon as the dirt and bacteria is out of you pimple it will go away
Blackheads:excess oil traps dirt in pores.Whiteheads:bacterial infections in pores clogged w/ oil-dirt/dry skin cells/ingrown hair (last 2 common in adult).Mild disinfectant of skin-Witch Hazel (WH) works well (Thayer brand);Propolis bee jelly (PP)-natural antibiotic.Found in health stores.Acne from dry skin, add deep moisturizer/mild exfoliation.Steps:1.AM/PM mild cleanser,2.WH,3. PP,4.moisturizer for skin type (w/ UVA/B protection!). Mask w/ sulfur 1-2x/wk.Tea Tree oil-good spot treatment, but drying-don't apply to whole face.Extraction, get "blackhead" tool (beauty supply).Don’t use fingers, can transfer bacteria to face.Avoid picking, always use a clean washcloth for same reason. If you can't easily extract the black/whitehead with tool, leave it alone. 1x/wk-Place face over bowl filled w/boiling water (not in it), cover head/bowl w/ towel, let steam open pores (if feel flushed, stop), use extraction tool.Apply WH&PP-pores will tighten. If slow extraction, steam face again, apply WH/PP. Wear UVA/B screen, drink a lot of water (skin needs hydration), and teens-avoid greasy foods. What works for you, may not work for another.Try for a month, hormones cycle, pores need time to clear.
Squeezing ans poping is not good way.You can get rid of pimples instantly with these methods but there are so many side effects of these methods. To get rid of pimples you must try some herbal methods. Apply neem extracts on your face. There are many Neem products in market moreover you can also order online.

my daughter had problems with acne, we discovered she was allergic to some soaps. we found clinique cleanser did not irritate her skin and she had good results with it. she even continued to use into adulthood. so if you are cleansing every morning and at nite and cannot seem to get any better, you may be allergic to your cleansers. hope this works for you.
