Early next year you will receive a 1099 Form from the Social security Administration detailing how much you received in SSI payments and how much you had withheld. Depending solely upon how much taxable income you made during the year, you will apply the money to your taxes due, or you can get it back as a refund. Just as a general rule people who receive SSI don't usually have a lot of taxable income. There are a number of free on-line tax services available at irs.gov
