How much is a 1803 Silver dollar worth? (in good-outstanding condition) where could I get it appraised? Do you think I should avoid

these small shops that buy gold etc

Most definitely avoid the small coin shops! Is it Large or Small?
1803 Draped Bust, Heraldic Eagle Dollar Large
most recent value I have in publication shows to be as followes
Large
MS-60 $37500.00
Small
MS-60 $25000.00
MS meaning Mint State (Uncirculated) for a real time estimate check E-Bay.

O.O it's large I guess (I don't really know if it's large or small) it's the size of the half dollar coins *maybe a little bigger* it's the dollar currency but it is "mint condition" I wish I could post a picture of it on here to show you to get more in sight, it has the eagle one one side then the liberty statue on the other side

Like her face :p idk kind of hard to explain

There are many Avid Coin Collectors that trade on E-bay, I would start there with my researching of the Coin.Simply search the listings for your coin or one similar. Do Not Post it for sale until you are absolutely sure of the buyer and your Coin status.

Yeah that's what I thought, I dont really want to sale it but my girl and I were trying to go on a vacation, I know a coin that old being pure silver is worth a pretty penny and I figure being younger they would try to under sale me:/ thank you for you're insight:)
