Ok good I read this article talking about Mitt Romney and I live in Massachusetts and I hate him also in the article it said about Massachusetts fearing the Republican Party.

THERE you are. Hey, smack me, will ya? I think I'm falling for someone.

I didn't like Mitt this election season (although I voted for him as the lesser of two evils). He changed his position on many issues in order to curry favor and win the backing of the RNC. I liked him in the primaries 4 years ago when he stood for his own convictions. I thought he was an outstanding governor. Unemployment fell in the state while he was in office and he inherited a budget deficit which he turned into a surplus. The subsequent administration took that and turned it back into a deficit.

He made the GOP look bad I'm sorry I'm a Republican and he attacked the poor and working class cutting social security. Mitt Romney makes the Republican party look bad in Massachusetts and I know he only for the rich not the people which is maybe why Massachusetts hates Republicans because of Mitt Romney.
Report as
Massachusetts' hatred of Republicans goes back waaaaaaaay before Mitt Romney. He's not only for the rich. That's Democrat propaganda. He's certainly not against the rich, that's for sure. But during his governorship he was very fiscally responsible which strengthened the state's economy and benefited everyone. Rather than raise taxes he increased revenues by instead increasing fees paid to the state, some of which had not been increased in decades, like advertising on billboards for example.
Report as
By the time Mitt Romney left office, the State of Massachusetts ranked 47 in the nation in job creation. The best thing he did for Mass was what is now called "Romneycare", which he unfortunately had to dismiss for the rest of the nation. He lost the State of Massachusetts for a reason.

They don't fear them but most of the population hate them. I'm certainly in the minority here. When I turn in my ballot on election day I feel I may as well put it into the paper shredder as the ballot counter.

He's not only a lier he's for the Rich which he made the Republican Party in Massachusetts look bad even though mostly all Republicans in Massachusetts are different than the Republicans in for example like Texas. Mitt Romney took away from the poor and working class sending our industries to India and China and cutting Social Security.

I have to disagree. I thought he did a great job as governor. He's not the same man now that he was then, he sold his soul to the RNC for their backing and support in his campaign. He changed his stance on many key issues to be more in line with the party's official stand. If he was the same man now that he was then I would have been glad to vote for him. I mean, I still voted for him, but I wish we had someone better running.

Everyone has their own opinion I honestly respect your opinion I'm considered a Populist Republican different than other Republicans in Massachusetts so I don't agree with Romney on most issues because I'm not that extreme as him. I was a supporter of Scott Brown though even though I only agree with him 53% of the time. I'm 15 and I try to pay very close attention with politics I was
probability the only one at home during the summer watching the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. On social issues like gay equality, Social security, healthcare, drug use, women rights and on some energy policies. For Republicans I agree with the "Three Strikes" law, death penalty, prayer in school, Amendment 2, the Patriot Act, Church welfare services, and opposed ending the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. That's some of the issues I stand with in each party our nation needs to help the poor and the poor haven't even gotten help yet sadly.
