Does medication really work for kids with ADHD?

Report as

For some, yes. It also helps to eliminate all red food coloring/dye from their diet.

The meds for adhd may very well work! Having said that, I do agree with RevHosanna, that dyes, preservatives, and too much salt, will in fact cause such disorders. Taking these man made things out of ones diet is a good thing. There's nothing like natural. Please don't buy into the "organic," things though, thats a farce too! Cheers :)

My best friend has ADHD and when he takes his medicine he changes and becomes kind of droopy. But then the doctor minimized his dosage and he doesn't have the droopiness anymore though. So, yes it does work.
