YES, most certainly. According to the Bible, suicide is not what determines whether a person gains entrance into heaven. If an unsaved person commits suicide, he has done nothing but "expedite" his journey to hell. However, that person who committed suicide will ultimately be in hell for rejecting salvation through Christ, not because he committed suicide. What does the Bible say about a Christian who commits suicide? The Bible teaches that from the moment we truly believe in Christ, we are guaranteed eternal life (John 3:16). According to the Bible, Christians can know beyond any doubt that they possess eternal life (1 John 5:13). Nothing can separate a Christian from God's love (Romans 8:38-39). If no "created thing" can separate a Christian from God's love, and even a Christian who commits suicide is a "created thing," then not even suicide can separate a Christian from God's love. Jesus died for all of our sins, and if a true Christian, in a time of spiritual attack and weakness, commits suicide, that would still be a sin covered by the blood of Christ.
I don't believe in this stuff, but according to the bible, yes. According to me, no. I mean, we all sin. So if you believe in Heaven and Hell, in reality, we should all go to Heaven because everyone sins. But I don't believe in any of this, so I'm not sure. It depends on the person I guess.
My family had a friend who was a Christian and killed herself. yes, she still went to heaven. suicide is not the unforgivable sin. if a non -believer commits suicide but has a change of heart and cries out for forgiveness before they die, they too will be forgiven and will go to heaven and not hell. it is non-belief that sends a person to hell; not the sin they commit.
Immediately after you die you will either be in Hell or Heaven. Believers, when they die, are absent from the body and present with the Lord (2 Cor 5:6-8). Eternal life is a guarantee and when a believer takes his own life he will lose rewards in Heaven, but he will not lose his place in Heaven. An unbeliever, when he dies, knows a split second after death that they are eternally separated from God (just like in the account of Lazarus and the rich man). After death it is too late to be saved.Read more: http://www.whatchristianswanttoknow.com/can-a-christian-commit-suicide-and-still-be-saved-a-biblical-analysis/#ixzz2DHq9d0U8
People claim it's not the unpardonable sin. Oh really? What is the unpardonable sin? Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit Correct? So what is Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? Denying The Power thereof. Which means your saying God your not greater than my desire to commit suicide. Therefore that leaves only one option They were never Saved to begin with. .
Proverbs 4:23: "More than all else that is to be guarded, safeguard your heart, for out of it are the sources of life." The purpose of this text is to demonstrate how God reads our hearts to determine if we truly deserve the eternal life that he has promised his followers (John 3:16). In other words, God is the one who determines who will pass on or be resurrected. Even though committing murder, in which suicide is the killing of one's self, is a sin, we must keep in mind that God will determine if a persons mental state is what took them to the point of suicide (Psalm 103:13, 14).
You shell not Murder, Exodus 20:13, all one has did by suicide is braking Gods Old Testament Law,killing yourself is murder, Why would one go to hell for sin if we been Foregive for past, present, future sin.
Committing suicide is the worst thing that can ever happened to you. If you kill yourself, you do not go to heaven. God gives life, not death. Killing yourself means you have given up , and threw away the life God gave you.
