I got a speeding ticket 17 over on highway the patrol guy was hiding and was rude, I haven't gotten ticket in 2yrs, how should I proceed?

what should I tell the judge?

Pay the ticket and learn how to control the weight of your foot. I doubt he WANTED to have to pull you over. He had to because you cant obey the law. I might sound cynical but I have seen WAY too many people die because of speeding and/or others speeding.

Lol, Neanderthal, the answer is so simple, even a caveman can do it, with his insurance rates about to go up, he could save hundred's by switching to GEICO auto insurance

So you were doing 82 in a 65. It is not how fast you were going. It was how fast you were going in relation to the other cars with you. He picked you out of the pack because you STOOD out! Look at it from his perspective. He probably just got done at an accident scene where there was blood and body parts strewn about from just such a speed demon who flew into a telephone pole!

Tell him the truth. (I would leave out the part about the officer "hiding" and being rude.)

Don't bother - just pay the ticket.

You should tell him you were doing about 17 over, but you won't do it again.

Ask, "and who do I make the check out to?". ... You got busted, dude .. Pay the ticket and quit wasting court time.

You were going 17mph over? Sorry, but regardless if he was hiding, that's dangerous for the rest of us on the road. I'd probably be rude too. Just pay it.

Just pay the ticket, & be done with it. Patrol Officers usually don't come all the way up to the window cause they don't know if the person that's driving is going to do what they say or pull a gun out & shoot them. They pretty much roll the dice every time they pull someone over. And the reason he was rude, he probably was having a bad day or something, you just never know when it comes to law enforcement, cause its a very stressful job. Like I said, I think you should just pay the ticket, but you can do whatever you want, it's your decision

In many jurisdictions you will have the opportunity to contest the ticket but since you're guilty, you may consider requesting a six month suspended sentence. Good luck

The cop was probably rude because you may not realise how many little douche bags come up with douche bag excuses for driving 17 mphs over the speed limit endangering the lives of others. It kinda saddens me he didnt expel your licence.

Pay the ticket. Then take a defensive driving class so your insurance rates won't go up.

Just be respectful to the judge so you don't get a worse charge. Unfortunately the officer being rude won't change the judges mind, so just accept and pay the fine.
