Is 34 a good enough ACT score to get into a good college?

So I kind of took it off the bat, just because my school counselor told me to... I don't know that much about it. I don't even know what the score is OUT of... so is it decent? Will it help me get into college?

Very few ACT takers get a perfect ACT score, even those who get into top colleges. In fact, anyone scoring 34, 35 or 36 is among the top 1% of ACT test-takers in the country. See collegeapps.about.com/od/theact/f/goodactscore.htm for details.

Yes, that's a good score you will get accepted, but you may still have an entrance exam to do.
