Regretting my first tattoo! Help!

So I just got my first tattoo about 4 days ago. it's on my wrist and it's a cross with the word faith written next to it. I've wanted this for a very long time, the cross even longer than the faith next to it. I love the cross, but I'm starting to regret the word faith. I can't get it out of my head now and I'm constantly going over it in my mind. "should I never have gotten it?" "should I get it removed?" etc. is this normal during the first few days? will I grow to love it?

and you say this is your first??? what if you habe buyers remorse on the future ones

As of now I don't plan on getting any more since I'm second guessing myself so much. I'm just saying this is my first and only tattoo.

Get a cover up a skilled tattooist will put a new image over the old one

I don't have any tattoo's but I've had this feeling with piercings. I think you'll grow to love it, it's normal to have that sick to your stomach feeling after doing something big! Plus it sounds like a nice tattoo to me :)

You should eventually love it, it's just those first few days when your a little weasy about it.... But if you end up not liking it , you can always get it removed.

You might grow to like it..its not like its going anywhere..but if its in yur head that much ya you might want to get it covered up with another tat...i wanted mine for 5 years before i got it and i dont regret it..

nope when I got my two Tattoos I was happy after I still am that's why u have to really make sure your gunna be happy with it after cause if not your gunna be stuck with it the same thing happen to my sister she got a Tattoo didn't like it after now she is getting it removed

There is a product called Wrecking Balm. The works slowly but my son says it really works.
