What do you think of these poems? I know they don't rhyme.

I hear time tell tales, about the songs of love, that swing and twist with heartfelt emotion, they tell of true feeling, and pain of reality, tugging at the deepest part if your heart, the part that feels without thought, that loves ad hates and changes, leaving you in complete and utter confusion. and here is the next "why do you cry" said he to the girl, "I cry for the world, for the pain and the death and the screams of darkness, that I see, lurking on the edge of hope. I also cry in joy. at the sheer beauty of the universe. spinning in a pattern that you will never see or hear, in an endless song of hope. washing away the pain of the world. as it spins to its endless saga. it's saga of happiness and light," said the girl, to he.

they dont seem good as poems to me, mostly because poems are supposed to rhyme, but they are very good as short anecdotes, filled with small pearls of wisdom.

Poems do not have to rhyme, but
they need a meter, correct spelling
& punctuation, good phrasing, etc.
You also need to know the different
types of poetry & the characteristics of each one. There are books that teach poetry writing, probably online stuff too. Your thoughts you presented
can be worked on. Just don't give up.

iTunes U is an app that offers
courses in lots of disciplines, some
cost $$, some do not. I found one
"Creative Writing--Poetry" from
Open University, London.
