Is it bad to only sleep 4 hours a night?

2 days ago i stayed up all night with only 1-2 hr sleep. The day after that i only slept 4 hours. then yesterday i slept at 10:00 and i just woke up right now.. WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?

Well, its not good... we do need sleep. Have you had a lot of caffeine lately? Started any new medications? Are you having a lot of stress?
There are many reasons for not sleeping enough. Try to figure out what's been different in your life for the past few days that could be causing the lack of sleep, then take care of whatever-it-is, if possible. It's okay not to sleep well for a few days, but if it continues, you should talk to your doctor.

But i wanna sleep for 8 hours but i just automatically wake up 4 hours after my sleep. So something tells me that i wake up 4 hours for a reason, because it's meant for me.

probly not so good sleep patterns they have pils that can help you sleep

obviously your sleep schedule is really screwed up. trust me i know as i work at nights and i dont adjust my sleep schedule accordingly. at first your body might feel fine but it really need the normal amount of sleep. i forget the numbers but depend on age ones body needs a good amount of sleep. even late teens and adults need like 10hrs of sleep. try to get on schedule or your body will make you feel sick

Yea.. I slept at 10:00pm yesterday.. But i keep waking up 4 hours later. Is there something wrong?

Not at all good. You can even get Epilepsy due to lack of sleep. (getting Fits in public is not very pretty)

Are you ADHD/ADD cause I am and if I want to go to sleep i have to take
a sleeping pill and my ADHD/ADD medicine?! (=

then just buy some over the counter sleeping pills and if that doesnt work
ask doctor to prescribe a stronger dose for you and that should do it (:

8-10 hours is best for teens, this will decrease somewhat as you age, but even elderly people get at least 7 hours a day. They usually like a nap in the afternoon, and sleep less at night. :)
