Ask your Mother! Your parents know what they want in their homes.

It's for your own protection. There are pedophiles who will try to make dates with young girls...old men pretending to be 15. There are a lot of predators out there, let's just put it that way. It has nothing to do with you and everything to do with the sickos in our society.

Of course, it's no brainer. Computers were & aren't built to be left on 24/ 7

You may change your mind when you have your own kids that you're trying to protect.

thank u feller :) but even though im still 14 i agree with harmony's point of view :)

I'm not any younger, or older than u, and Harmon does have a valid point that can be a problem, but I'm more worried about being kidnapped or falling down a hole in the dirt than that, u just have to be careful and it won't be a problem . . . but that is a valid point.

Ellipsical

It's not wrong. The only thing is it may distract you from ever doing anything else. I'm sure you have the good sense to not put personal information out there.

It's not at all wrong as long as you are trustworthy. If you can be trusted to not spend too many hours glued to the screen when you should be outside getting some fresh air or doing chores, etc., and if you can be trusted to not look at inappropriate websites or talk to inappropriate people, then it's perfectly fine!
