You can scrunch it by washing it, then towel drying it as best as you can ( but still have it damp) then, you flip your head upside down and take gel and grab handfulls of your hair and push up until it curls. or you could straighten it with a flat iron. or you could have half of your hair up and leave the bottom layer down. you can take a small hair clip and brade a small part of your hair back and curl the rest. their alot of things you can do. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nv7My7R3WjQ

im a teen and me and my sister have gone through EVERYTHING that could go wrong with hair. but now, our hair is healthy and beautiful. also, it depends on what kind of hair you have and how thick it is. so you don't have to read everything, 1 will be curly hair, 2 will be straight hair, and 3 will be thick hair.
1)if you have curly/ wavy hair (like my sister) only brush your hair when your about to go into the shower. wash your hair/ take a shower every day/ every other day. while your hair is still wet, put in a cream made specially for curly/wavy hair. after shower DO NOT BLOW DRY YOUR HAIR!!! just let it dry throughout the day. at night, braid your hair to give it natural looking curls and to keep it "looking groomed"
(sorry, but they had to stop me here. the rest of my commit is in my commit section for this commit!)
