I have one on my chest that I've worried about for the 6 or so years it's been there but idk what it is :/
I've had 2 on the top of my head that turned out to be subvasious cysts. I popped the first one like a zit and it went away (doctor said that's not good), got another one now
I had a strange lump like that growing on my stomach I was in aware of it but then in a month it grew 1 inch so I went to the doctor and he told me to go to a dermatologist , they too thought it was qms but it turned out to be cancerous and they surgically removed it now I just have a little scare but besides that there's no lump--this was 1 year ago
Could be just a ganglion cyst.
Hey Dozy ! I had a lump like that years ago and it was some sort of cyst ! Doctor gave me some super-anti biotics and it went away ! My wife made all kinds of smarta$$ remarks about it being an extra eye or arm , so I finally went to the Doc ! Good to see you around !

Dozy, you have been missed by all the smart people on Ask. What a surprise to see your double head picture! Every once in a while an old question would pop up and there you were. We have missed you terribly. I'm so glad you are back.
I had a lump like that on my face. It turned out to be basal cell cancer which is the one to have if you get a cancerous lump. It is slow moving and stable. Not even interesting. A 12-year-old doctor in a city near me sliced and diced and it's gone. A few stitches and some scotch in the evening and I was all done.
And, by the way, you've been missed on FB.
I just found that with working full time (I am 61) and everything else I do around the house, I just couldn't add one more thing and do it well. The small sound bites of Ask suit me. I can engage for a few minutes and walk away.

I like how you describe the bump as QMS. No, never had a bump like that or heard of one but hopefully you will be okay if you take two aspirins and call us in the morning which is nighttime here where I live.

I'm not really worried about the lump though I will ask the doc about it. It was just my way of announcing my return.
