Do you think one day religion will be rare?

Report as

I certainly hope that not only must the religion be rare but even go completely extinct one day! Just imagine what a glorious day and pleasant achievement that would be for mankind!!!

I doubt it. Even in cultures, primitive , with no religion. They still fight against other tribes like cats and dogs.

I think one day we will all be of one mind and one accord in agreement completely with God in all things and that day will continue throughout Eternity.

No, Man will feel the need to create one even if there was none. Nietzsche had it right.

No. Atheism is growing more widespread, but so is belief in God, even more so. The Bible says that before Jesus returns, the Gospel will be preached throughout the entire world. If you really look, you will see its reach growing further and further. India, which is traditionally known as a Hindu nation, currently has the biggest growth of Christianity of any country in the world. It is also growing a lot in China, believe it or not, and many, many other places as well.

Yes!! It is prophesied in the Bible. Read 1 Thessalonians 5:2,3- the scriptures bring attention to what will be call God's Day (Jehovah) - it will be the start of the destruction of all false religion and culminate in the war of Armageddon.

Also read Revelation 17: 1,3,5,16 - Revelation is a book written in symbolic terms - however, if you read the context around it - you may be able to decipher what is going to happen -(verse 16) And the ten horns that you saw, and the wild beast, these will hate the harlot and will make her devastated and naked, and will eat up her fleshy parts and will completely burn her with fire.

If you look around -it is headed in that direction - there is so much disrespect and distrust in the name of religion that most people have grown frustrated in the revelation of so many of their sins - the sins of most religion has reached what one might say - "the heavens." (sexual abuse, money mismanagement, fraud, improper relationship among members within the churches, and the list goes on - yes, religion will soon be very rare. That is religion not GOD.

You mean can the human species grow out of its most devastating viral vice? If we do not we will destroy our selves with nuclear jihad. When we finally mock the last abrahamic religion out of discourse the world will be in extacy and we can begin our real project. For 5 billion years we will have peace until the sun goes red and perhaps we will have technology to move to another solar system where we can leave the dark ages behind us in a dead solar system. Either way if humanity has a chance of lasting that long at all- it will be without dogma. There is a reason we don't build torture chambers any more and eventually we will not be building churches but instead secular education institutions and centers for food and housing for the homeless. The antidote is atheism and we have been curing this sickness of delusion.

One day all will be gone but as lobg as there are people on the face of the earth there will be religion. It may not always be legal but it will exist.

Not unless all religious people die. Even then, religion would come back inevitably.
