Is Stihl or Husqvarna a better chainsaw make?

Or any other brand of chainsaws

Report as

Husqvarna, definitely. I have a Stihl that would make a wonderful boat anchor, and a Husqvarna that will start and cut no matter what. Also, I used to work for a motorsports dealer who also sold and serviced both brands... and easily 90% of the repairs which were brought in were Stihl.

Totally agree!

That stupid Stihl Pole Saw I bought... grrr. It's been in the shop 3 times and when you lift it to cut a branch it completely dies.

If it dies when you pick it up , It's not a Stihl , It's a Stiff

Lol... but tell me... what earthly use is a pole saw if you can't raise it anything over parallel to the ground???
Report as
If the saw can't be used in this position , They shouldn't have made the saw in the first place , If anything , Use a Sawzall with a pruning blade , It has the teeth as a hand pruning saw which cuts fast , But be very careful , The teeth are extremely sharp

I ended up spending a whopping $1800 and buying a LimbHog attachment for my loader tractor and/or skidsteer. Best money I ever spent.

The Stihl brand is considered a better chainsaw brand as compared the latter by users. Stihl produces a number one selling brand of chain saws and a full line of outdoor power tools including blowers, trimmers, brush-cutters, and construction.

My brother had a Poulan Wild Thing chain saw and after 2 days of cutting firewood , IT died , So he got a Husqvarna and since , He's had no problems
