How much sleep do i need to get rid of a cold? what do i need to do to be healthy again?

i have a cold and ive been sick since tuesday or wednesday (depending on if u count my dry and hard throat on tuesday) and my throat doesnt hurt anymore but im just really congested,exaughsted,and my nose wont stop running and i want to be better already

You should have at least 8 hours of rest a day, and as much as possible if you are sick. There is no cure for the common cold, but there are thing you can do to make it more pleasant and maybe shorten it. for congestion, try mixing honey, vinegar and hot water and drinking it. it doesn't taste good, but it will clear you sinuses right up! for a sore throat, try hot tea with honey. also, eat lot's of citrus if possible.

i dont know about the sleep part but all i know is you need tons of rest!

you don't need sleep, you need people to stay away from you.
people don't get colds by being cold, they get it by spreading germs with other people in your room or in your house. people get cold in the winter by being bunched up in one room in front of a fireplace, than in summer everyone likes being outside. people who play in the snow just get runny/red noses, not colds.
