Is it possible to graft titanium plating onto a human skeleton without killing the host?
Science fox...IS SCIENCY!
I know sometimes if a bone breaks one may have to have a metal plate attached for it to heal right...I don't think that answers your question, though.
if your very careful
Graft ... no.However, you could replace the human skeleton with titanium bones. But then there wouldn't be any marrow.
I believe they use a type of cement and screws as a medium to attach. titanium implants are very popular with surgeons though. Hip, knee, all extremities.
Titanium cannot be grafted to any living tissue, animal or vegetable.
