If you lose your paycheck and someone other than yourself cashed it. Is it fraud ? What are actions that can be taken ?

yes it is fraud, and depending how much the check was a felony, you should call the police, and make a statement...see if the prosecutor wants the case, if not go to civil court, seek the amount of the check, and damages, such as bounced checks...and the cost of the lawyer..good luck...,

It is fraud, but they'd need your account number and signature to get the money. Call in and cancel your check if you haven't already.

If you endorsed your check you are out of luck. If not endorsed the bank that cashed check owes you the money.
