What is the best state to live in? I'm from Tn and really want to make a move!

I hate really cold weather, so that's a major factor.

But you also have to consider, there are NO jobs in Tn. The cost of living change I'm sure will cause me to choke, but living here is gonna cause me to choke somebody ;)

Ya, the cost of nice weather does sting a bit...

Bahaha....If there are jobs there and beautiful weather....I think I'll start packing!

I have been online for a couple months checking out jobs in different states, you're right they are scarce. I'm hoping the right state and job just jump out and grab me :) thanks y'al.

I live in Vermont moved up here from North Carolina about 16 years ago wish I never left but if you don't mind the cold winters Vermont is nice. If I was you I would stay right there your going to miss it.

I hate the cold lol but no I don't think I would. I've been wanting to get away for a long time just had to wait till my kids were grown...now they are.

It might not be the whole state you don't like but the community you live in. Explore places close by that you've never been versus moving from the whole state.
there is also a book and online calculator that you can compare cost of living from community to community, which might be more important than weather.

The weather isn't the issue really. I don't like cold weather but I would rather be cold and happy as to warm and miserable. I have lived in many parts of Tn, there is just something tugging at me to move. i don't know how to explain it

It depends on what you're looking for. What kind of work. Activities. Hobbies etc...... Every place has different things to offer. Every place has a downside

Honestly just a new start. I've been here all my life and I feel like I'm in a rut....almost anything would give me a boost....it's just not doing it for me here.

Then choose a climate and scenery you like to be in and go check it out. For me I live in MN. I'd move to Colorado
