How long do you wait to seal grout from the time it dries?

Do you still have to wait 3 weeks before getting it wet?

I sealed all my grout a week after it dried ! My tile man told me to do it as soon as you can , so the sealer will soak in better and seal off the surface . Maybe a day or two later you can mop and clean ! It will say on the sealer can or bottle the best time to wait before you get it wet !

You need to wait for at least a week before you can seal it. You also need to put a protective cover over it for it to cure as required. Read more from http://www.ehow.com/way_5873730_long-wait-before-sealing-grout_.html.
