Behavioral changes: 1. Keep a gratitude journal. Each day write down one thing that went well. It can be as simple as a good parking space, or as deep as a loving act. Check how differently you perceive things after a month of making yourself notice the positive things in your life. 2. Laugh out loud. Even if it is fake, everyday when you are alone in the car or in front of the mirror - laugh. You may feel silly, but 2-3 minutes into it, your endorphins will start to flow. (Choose comedy for your entertainment, too.) 3. Exercise. Even if it is just having fun on your feet. (walk, bounce a rubber ball on the kitchen floor, lol, anything that gets you off your "seat.") 4. Sleep. 7-8 hours a night. 5. Healthy diet low in saturated fats. Good luck to you! Many people have success without meds. But, if you see no progress, find a doctor who will listen.
