Can you help me?

I am in 7th grade accelerated math, so it's 7th and 8th grade math. I have a problem on a take home quiz, and it asks identify the constant of proportionality.... 1) y=7x 2) y=1/5x Thanks!!

I looked up what the "constant of proportionality" is.

Apparently, in a formula formed like: y = kx, k is the factor of proportionality.

Therefore, in questions:

1. y = 7x, 7 is the C.O.P.

and

2, y = (1/5)x, (1/5) is the C.O.P.

My advice to you would be ask your teacher even if you have to email them, when I started 7th grade and I was assigned a email. Thats all I could tell you and I am in eighth grade and I don't even know this
