I am very shy myself... I simply gave here a note, then I found out she likes me back. Now we are very close friends.
Basically just become friends with her. :)

Great answer! Then just become friends. At least at first. That's more attractive to women than guys just coming on for sex. Keep it in your mind you're going to do for her what a friend would do. Listen, share, help, etc. Then take your time and let it progress to closer friendship.

If you're coming on just for sex, just get over yourself. There's so much more to relationships than sex.
