I buy Christmas presents all year long as I find the perfect thing and have the money. But I still need to take a steer to market so I can buy gift cards for the neighbor kids. They're orphans, and the kids at school tease them mercilessly over their poor clothes and lack of material goods. So every year since their parents died I have gotten them gift cards so they can buy clothes, and last year they got i-pods and i-tunes gift cards. If there is any money left over I MAY get a new fan for my furnace so I don't have to schlep wood this winter in case my MS flares up... but that's a maybe. The kids come first; they're the reason for Christmas. On them, I'll probably spend about $500, which is more than the rest of my gifts combined (but don't tell my friends and family, lol... I am the queen of clearance sales!)
Not much because I buy things on clearance throughout the year. I like to get little stockings for my students and a few things to go in them. I buy the stockings at the after Christmas sales and store them. Last year, I got them 90% off! I looove after Christmas sales!
