Why English is so hard to learn

i have been in USA for 3year and i still don't speak English at all :(

The English language is a mishmash of other languages, so every "rule" in English has hundreds of exceptions.
Also- so many Americans speak in a casual dialect, rather than true and proper English grammar and syntax that it may be difficult to distinguish what's correct from what's commonly used.

You're right, English as a second language is not easy. Many on here don't have proper language skills and it's their home language! YOUR and YOU'RE are perfect examples!

Don't feel bad. With nearly a million words and rules too numerous to list, many native speakers barely manage to stumble through it.
