you cannot prove to most atheists that God is real, because they have some reason that they don't want him to exist, all of them have one, and it has caused them to disregard the proof that exists, such as the cloak of Juan Diego, or the Eucharistic Miracles that have occurred. they wont believe in God because they have already predetermined he does not exist, don't bother with them, it isn't worth the time you waste when you can find people who are far more willing to listen

You can't. There is no proof. There is no knowledge. You can KNOW what's in the Bible, of course. But neither you nor anyone else can KNOW about Yahweh (the Christian and Jewish god) or any other god. Such "knowledge" is beyond human understanding. We can believe. We can have faith. It's all we have and all we're supposed to have. In any case, each individual believes what they believe, and you can't just "paint" your belief onto them. They will generally only resent your "persuasion". Hold on to your own belief and rejoice in it. Let other people rejoice in their beliefs. And atheists have a right to their beliefs as well.
You will find it nearly impossible to convey your belief in God to those who profess an atheist belief. They will attempt to disprove God with "scientific" logic. Interestingly, Lord Kelvin, the famous British Physicist, made the statement, "Do not be afraid of being free thinkers. If you think strongly enough you will be forced by science to the belief in God."
Sweety, God is a big boy. He can take care of proving Himself if He chooses. Thing is Hes all about faith. Stop stressing over this proof thing. If God wants to show someone hard proof He will. If not then no one can. All we are required to do is tell people about God and Christ. We are not obligated to MAKE them believe. We dont have to PROVE God. He'll take care of all that in His own time and His own way.
This is why trying to prove that God exists in a debate is foolhardy. You can never change the mind of someone whose mind is already made up. That goes both ways. The atheist cannot convince me, and I can not convince him. You can never transfer your faith to another individual. I lack the faith to believe in evolution, a concept that appears ridiculous to the extreme with such far fetched theories that I often laugh at what I consider absurdities that defy logic, reason, and science. The atheist reacts exactly the same way towards God and religion. They have faith in evolution, I do not. I have faith in God, and they do not. Neither of us will be able to transfer that faith to the other.
You can not prove anything to someone who is not willing to listen, you can talk until you are blue in the face if they do not believe God is real there is nothing you can say or do that will ever change their minds, the only thing you can do is turn it over to God and let Him handle things.
Try and point out little acts of God to them. One that work especially well are things that seemed terrible but led to a positive outcome. Maybe try taking a friend to church or a prayer group. Even if they don't believe, consistently point out ways god has acted in people's lives and maybe they will listen.
You cannot prove to anyone that God exists. All you can do is give them evidence that He exists, the rest is up to them. (I'll give you a reason to believe that God exists, though. 1. Everything that begins to exist has a cause. 2. The universe began to exist - there is good philosophical and scientific evidence to believe that the universe is not eternal in the past, but rather, had a beginning. 3. Therefore, the universe began to exist. The sufficient cause of the universe would have to be eternal, beginningless, timeless, spaceless, immaterial, enormously powerful, intelligent, and a personal agent. Therefore, it's logical to believe that an eternal, beginningless, timeless, spaceless, immaterial, enormously powerful, intelligent, personal Creator of the universe exists). Anyways, even with an evidence for the existence of God, hard atheists will disregard it because they already have some reason as to why they don't want God to exist. Since they already presupposed that God doesn't exist, you're not going to convince them of a different view. Just pray for them, give them evidence, back off, and pray for them some more.
One of the best way's to defend your belief in God is to use His word the Bible. For those who do not believe in a creator you would ave to establish the supernatural origins of the Bible itself. For example, it was common belief during the Bronze and Iron Age civilizations that the Earth's shape was that of a flat plane or disk. It wasn't until the 6th century that Greek astronomer Pythagoras developed the paradigm of a spherical Earth. However, long before Pythagoras was even born the Bible referred to it as a circle, or sphere. (Isaiah 40:22) Also at a time when people believed that the universe was filled with a fifth element known as Aether the Bible accurately said that the earth ?hangs on nothing.? (Job 26:7)
Forget about convincing everyone. Forget about convincing anyone. Concentrate on what you do in your life. Live by the rules you follow. Let others choose their path in life. Let others fall down by their own choosing as they will get up & fall down many more times in this lifetime. Their life & the way they live it is their choice as yours is yours.
I don't think you should have to prove that. If you really need to just ask them how they think the world got here without him. If they say big-bang-theory, ask them how such complex creatures and such a complex world could have been an accident. Ask them if they know about the human body, about the land we live on, about the insanely amazing universe our planet is just a spec of dust in. Ask them how all that got here. By chance? I think not,
Hebrews 9:24: "Christ entered...into heaven itself, now to appear before the person of God for us." John 4:24: "God is a Spirit." John 7:28: "He that sent me is real," said Jesus. 1 Corinthians 15:44: "If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual one." Consider examples: Does the fact that knives have been used to murder prove that no one designed them? Is the use of jet aircraft to drop bombs in time of war evidence that they had no designer? Or is it rather the use to which these are being put that is causing grief to mankind? Is it not true that much disease is a result of man's own poor living habits and his spoiling of the environment for himself and others? Are not the wars fought by humans a major cause of human suffering? Is it not also true tat, while millions suffer from lack of food, there is more than enough in other lands, so hat one of the underlying problems is human greed? All these things give evidence, not that there is no God, but tat humans are sadly misusing their God-given abilities.
Why do you feel you need to? If a thing is true, it is true whether anybody believes it or not. If a thing is not true, it is not true no matter how many people believe it is. As a very wise man said, No doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. I believe that, and I believe it it will continue to do so, regardless of what else you or I or any other frail & fallible human being may or may not believe at any given time.Explore your own beliefs, examine them, meditate on them, challenge them, allow them to change and grow, to expand, To evolve,if you like. And accord to others the courtesy to do the same, and I think you will be just fine.
As some have already said, we can't make anyone believe in God. However, we CAN help them to see through our own lives, the power of an Almighty God working in us. Often the witness we live speaks much louder and more eloquently than anything we could say. Prayer for the spiritually blind is a must: in the end, God Himself give revelation to the hungry heart
