Romans 3:10-12

10 As it is written:

?There is none righteous, no, not one;
11 There is none who understands;
There is none who seeks after God.
12 They have all turned aside;
They have together become unprofitable;
There is none who does good, no, not one.?

Mark 10:18

18 So Jesus said to him, ?Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.

Jesus was God in the flesh and he was perfect but the reason Jesus made this statement is because He knew that as long as He was in the flesh that nothing good comes from the flesh. And yes there will be a lot of disappointed people that find out they've been mislead.

so you can be hilter and still go to heaven? Thats the only thing i dont get about Christianity the worst people can got to heaven.

Only if you have Repented of your sins. It's one thing to say your sorry, but if it's just lip service and it doesn't come from Godly Sorrow ( from the heart ) it means nothing. Apostle Paul was a murderer and persecuted God's children ( Christians ) and he truly thought he was doing the Will of God. But when God stuck him down off his high horse and blinded him he Repented and gave his life to Jesus. So the bottom line is no matter what you've done in your life you can be forgiven. But the Word Repent means turn away from you sins. The only unpardonable sin is Blasphemy Of The Holy Spirit which is denying the power there of. Which means denying the Power of God and His plan of Salvation though Jesus Christ.

That's right kiddies- if a serial killer rapist is really sorry, he gets to go to "heaven", while a perfectly good person who happens to be Hindu deserves eternal torment.

Just one of the hundreds of things that makes no sense about Christianity. Not to mention is ethically horrible.

if a serial killer rapist is truelly sorry for his mistakes, and repents to God and believes that he is a sinner and needs God's help, than yes
it doesn't mean he should be free from jail or anything, but im just saying everyone's made mistakes, big or small. just because someone's mistakes are different from yours doesn't mean that you're right and he's wrong. haven't you done wrong things before? i mean, yes, killing and other things are really bad, but don't you believe in forgiveness? maybe the killer would turn his life around?

eh a part of the religion that i dont believe in :) sometimes i think that religion swallows a personal identity replacing it with singular veiws from a large group that some people take on as poison to their own opnions

It's sick and sadistic to think that a serial killer gets an eternal reward as long as he's sorry, but that a good person gets eternal torture just for not believing in the right god out of the 2850 man has worshiped over the millenia.
