Which is better a XBOX360 or a PS3?

i don't know wish one to buy my husband for christmas.

depends most of the games are for both consoles the main difference is that for Xbox u need to pay 60 dollars every year to play online. i personally think that the xbox360 is better because it has the kinect which is a hands-free addition that lets you play certain games like kinect sports which is really fun to play with the family

I prefer the Xbox 360. The console-exclusive games are better, and the network security is MUCH better. Also, the people online on the 360 are generally MUCH more friendly. The PS3 is for try-hards.

I know this isn't part of the question, but a decent gaming PC will go much further than any console you could buy. But in regards to the question, I would say the Xbox 360, as I have had both, and I preferred the 360 over the PS3.
