Yes. I have no idea what it might be like. But the soul (whatever if it is) is made of energy. Energy CAN'T be created or destroyed; it simply changes form. Physics (science, not "psychics") has proven this. So, in some form, the soul continues on. Again, no idea where to or what for. It just does.
well you see there is the science part to it then there is the religieuse part of it... so when you ask a question like this it only gets the GEEKS and the GOD LOVERS in a fight.. (sorry that's what i classify them as.. no afence to anyone) ((i dont "belive")) so i have watched shows on History and i do but i dont to answer your question.. you do go somewhere thou.. in the ground or in where ever land... so i do but i dont.. hard to explain..

Trust me. Nothing sounds more horrific than an afterlife. No matter where you end up. Think about it. As an alternative to eternal Hellfire, Heaven really does sound quite nice. But on its own merit? It sounds TERRIBLE. I'm sure you'd still be having a pretty good time after your first 10,000 years were up. I somehow doubt you'd still be feeling so good after your second 10,000 years. How exactly do you think you'll feel after your THIRD hundred thousand years. Now think about how fondly you'll remember your googolth year when remembering it on your googolplexth anniversary. Eh? Still sound fun?
Now I realize that just because it sounds horrible, doesn't mean it's not real. But it is a really awful idea.
I believe in an afterlife. I don't need evidence for it because I take God's word for it. God has never lied to me so i would naturally assume that he's telling the truth about an afterlife. Even from all the sins that i've committed he still helps me on a daily basis. It's not my afterlife that i worry about it's the afterlife of others. I have many friends who are atheist and it bothers me but that's the world i live in i guess. I for one haven't turned a blind eye on God's gifts that he's given me.
As an excuse for tyranny, as a justification of slavery, as a rationalization of suppression, the church has taught that an afterlife awaits the oppressed. This infamous doctrine of reward in another life have been used to degrade and to enslave mankind and to rationalize the sadism of their god.
I don’t believe in an afterlife for lack of evidence, so I don’t have to spend my whole life fearing hell, or fearing heaven even more. For whatever the tortures of hell will be I'll stand unto that as boldly, as fearlessly & as honestly as I deny it even today.
Since no one ever came back from death to give an authentic testimony, we do not know. What reasons have we to trust that a god will do any better in an afterlife, than he has done, and is doing in this life? If the Bible is mistaken in telling us where we came from, how can we trust it to tell us where we're going? And as it seems, that the powers (!) of gods is giving men the ability to realize that afterlife doesn't exist. Because, the dead theologians knew no more than the theologians now living. More than this cannot be said. About this world little is known, -- about another world, nothing.
Let me start by saying I'm not religious, but absolutely believe in the Holy Scriptures. I am spiritual. Listen to this & tell me why you wouldn't want to be there? Daniel 7:9; While I was watching, thrones were set in place & one most venerable took his seat. His robe was white as snow, the hair of his head as pure as wool. His throne was a blaze of flames, its wheels were a burning fire. A stream of fire poured out, issuing from his presence, a thousand thousand waited on him, ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The court was in session & the books lay open.
Probably not. The practice of organized religions advocating an afterlife only to hold it over you to bow to their doctrines is beyond despicable. It's predatory. Too bad so many spend so much time caught up in the lie.
I also think there is, but not just the after life, many more, i believe that we are beings directly connected to the Universe in diffrerent ways. I just dont know but when i think about it, well it makes me happy
There's no after life what God promised is there is going to be resurrection. (“I have hope toward God . . . that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.”—ACTS 24:15.) And this promise is going to take place after Armegedin the end of the world witch nobody knows the day or time only God.
