Stainless steel flatware strength. I've seen 18/10, 18/8 and 18/0. Which is the most durable and, hopefully, will not rust or pit?

The first number is the amount of chromium in the steel and the second number is the amount of nickel. The nickel is what prevents the corrosion. So the high the second number the less like to to pit and corrode.
