I have frizzy long hair how should i cut it?

my hair is almost to the end of my back but i need to cut it.... i want it short for the summer so i can just put it up in pony tail all the time. pros: easy to wash, brush, put up, make it look cute easily with bows and headbands. cons: cant braid it, i have SUPER friizy hair, my hair is super thick, my pony tail would stick straight out. WHAT DO I DO. ps. i hate bangs

My oldest daughter has the same type of hair but super curly and it frizzes a lot. She got it cut to just above her shoulders and sometimes flat irons it....which looks great on her or she uses a scrunching mousse and just applies it to wet hair and scrunches to give it that wet but elegant and fabulous look.At work...(she works on the military base)...she uses a bandana and ties it behind her hair to keep it all in.Gives her a sporty look and there are some fun designed ones you can try. Looks great that way to. Whatever way you decide to go...make sure you always use a leave in frizz control conditioner after you wash your hair...Garnier Nutrisse has excellent ones and for good prices(use coupons to buy them even cheaper ;). If your hair has any curl to it or is really frizzy....always use a wide toothed comb to pick your hair with and not a brush. Brushes tend to add to the frizziness look. Don't pull out knots with a brush either.... gently use a fine toothed comb to gently get rid of those annoying tangles. HTH :)

Get layers.. I have thick and frizzy hair too. The layers help out a little. Try it. and good luck:)!

My hair is EXACTLY like yours!i cut to maybe 3 inches below my shoulder and layered it looks awesome!!!!!its easy to style and looks super cute!btw I love your profile pic!
