Actually, the guy in Miami was a man who got uh... intoxicated, by uh... "Bath Salts" and believed he was a zombie, proceeding to uh.... feast on a person's face. But that aside, no, it is biologically impossible to reestablish consciousness to dead tissue and furthermore, it is even more ludicrous to assume a dead thing would actually need to eat anything, much less brains specifically.
Actually, there is a virus in cats (that stems from eating mice) that forces your body to decompose slower, an once you are dead, tries to take over your brain (but fails), resulting in your body fidgeting after death. The symptoms? Skitz o frenia or however you spell it. This is rare though.
