Is this a good weight loss routine?
I recently went to the gym last saturday for the first time with one of my friends. We worked out on machines such as the "Fly" which are all about enhancing muscles in the arms. I still have major soreness in my left arm (Weaker) and less in my right. I then realize that first I should lose weight, then build muscles because then you will have musles under your fat (Especially in the ab region). So my weight is at 190 for the most part and I'm 5 foot 8. I woudn't want to the excersizes that will keep me short as I'm 15.
So how does this sound:
Pretty much it will be all cardio.
Monday through thursday would be 5 mph on treadmil for an hour.
Then friday will be "break day" as I have work.
Saturday and sunday will be hour for 5 mph on treadmil.
Does this sound good for weight loss? I'm pretty sure that teadmills woudn't cause soreness in body regions.
