Do you say Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays?

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night! (I'm now Santa)

Absolutely Merry Christmas! So sad that people are trying so hard to take Christ out of Christmas in every way.

assuming people celebrate christmas is the problem... I mean, i get saying merry Christmas ON christmas... but you wish people a merry christmas when they might be jewish or wiccan?

Christmas is christmas but that isnt EVERYONES winter holiday. =)

Well yeah! and you should by all means!

I just dont assume people are CHRISTians and wish them a merry christmas... But if they ARE CHRISTians and you DONT with them merry CHRISTmas they think youre trying to ruin their CHRISTian holiday... Im not trying to ruin anything, im trying to include everyone. =)

So please, if youre christian, have a merry christmas!

thats not the problem. sheesh. It doesnt have anything to do with CHRIST. it has way more to do with the fact that not everyone celebrates christmas.

What if the wiccans ruled the country and only wished people happy Yule? I think christians would be pretty annoyed that they were being wished a happy "wrong holiday".

some people are offended by Christians, but that's totally different.

i am not the one who invented any of it..and really don't care what people say/call it..some people say Hi..others Hello...the question was "what do I say"..and it's neither here nor there to me...

on Christmas i say merry Christmas.
During the "season" i say happy holidays!

Other people believe other things but were all in the same spirit of peace and joy. So have a great holiday season everyone! (i also celebrate other winter holidays!)

I used to work with "the Public", too, so I usually said "Enjoy your holidays", but the couple of times I'd slip and say Merry Christmas, the person usually turned out to be Jewish!
