Id say yes. I have arguments with my mom like everyday. And she starts yelling and stuff so all i wanna do is yell at her back.. but from experience in the past, dont do it. Opening your mouth in the moment of an argument could make it more of an issue than it needs to be. Just deal with whats going on and walk away.
It depends on the argument. You should always stand up for what you believe in, and for what is right.
But you should also listen to the other side, try and understand what they are saying, understand why they don't see your side. Use reasoned argument stated calmly and clearly... and be prepared to admit you are wrong if things don't go your way.
And sometimes, some things are just not worth arguing over, ESPECIALLY when you know you are right.
Philippians 2:14-15 "In everything you do, stay away from complaining and arguing, so that no one can speak a word of blame against you. You are to live clean, innocent lives as children of God in a dark world full of people who are crooked and stubborn. Shine out among them like beacon lights. " (Living Bible)
