what was the gas that powered the hindenburg
what was the gas that blew up the hindenburg
The gas that blew up the Hindenburg was hydrogen. Static electricity is the cause of the blow up of the air ship in 1937. Here is a great site that debunks many of the myths. http://www.airships.net/hindenburg/disaster/myths
hydrogen was what blew up the monstrous blimp because it was so vunerable. a few shots at that thing and it would have gone up but as gerrih1 rightly pointed out, static electricity was the cause.
