Is it normal/common to have terrible bowel pains with severe menstrual pains every month? I take ibuprofen, Tylenol, Pamprin, all OTCs.

Also using a heat wrap over my lower abdomen. nothing seems to take the pain away. i'm miserable and tired of this monthly pain. Yes, going to go to the doc. I just want to know if many others have these pains.

That can be a sign of PCOS or Endometriosis, many women experience a change in bowels around their periods but severe pain is not normal. You are right you need to go to the doctor, you are not alone though, there are other women that experience the same thing you do.

PCOS doesn't sound like what's going on with me, symptom wise anyway but the endo is something I'm worried I may have. I was just reading about them both. Hopefully I just have terrible pains for no reason. I would like to have children someday!!!
